Origin Aligoté used to be regarded as Chardonnay's poorer cousin, but today Burgundy’s winemakers are using it to make some superb whites. In fact, it's the style Burgundians love to drink – so crisp and refreshing. And with warmer temperatures, the grape now ripens to perfection, retaining intense freshness, but with rounder peach notes too. This cuvée is from Laurent Guillot, whose family have been based in Burgundy for generations. Its name pays tribute to his friend and mentor, Robert Ledoux, who had a great passion for the region and a great memory for each vintage and its best cuvées.
