Ingredients
- 227g unsalted butter
- 3g salt
- 100g sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 5ml vanilla extract
- 240g flour
- 200g sanding sugar

- 1 stand mixer
- 1 silicone spatula
- Parchment paper
- 1 knife
- 1 baking sheet
Directions
- Mix the butter, salt, and sugar in a stand mixer.
- Slowly incorporate the egg yolks while mixing. Scrape down any excess mixture with a silicone spatula from the sides of the bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract and flour. Mix.
- Roll the dough into a log. Wrap with parchment paper and leave in the refrigerator for an hour.
- Sprinkle sanding sugar on the chilled dough.
- Cut the dough into even slices with a knife.
- Bake the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 175℃ for 10 minutes.
