Giving Back to the Community
foodpanda is not only committed to delivering the best food to our communities.
We are also committed to giving back to the underprivileged and people in need.
As such, we organise frequent volunteering events and collaborations with charities.

Our milestones
pandamart Donations to ImpactHK’s Kindness Walks
Since July 2022, foodpanda has donated bags of food and necessities to people experiencing homelessness, distributed through ImpactHK’s Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei Kindness Walks. As of April 2023, 880 bags have been distributed to people in need.
Meal Donation Feature
We launched our meal donation feature in January 2023, enabling foodpanda users to donate to Foodlink Foundation after each order. As of March 2023, the equivalent of 49,029 meals have been donated since launch.
DBS Bank and foodpanda will also provide matching donations to meal donations made by DBS cardholders from 1 May to 31 October 2023*.
*DBS and foodpanda will match donations made with a DBS Credit Card up to a total of HK $50,000 for the 'match donation campaign'
Jockey Club Food Assistance Programme
In partnership with the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, we sent meals to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular for homebound persons or families that cannot cook at home.
Rice Packing Event
Working together with Foodlink Foundation, we re-packed more than 500 packs of rice into manageable portions for distribution to people in need.
Beach Cleanup
We organise a beach clean-up with Plastic Free Seas for office staff twice a year.
Through this, we aim to raise awareness on the ocean plastics crisis and make a positive impact on the environment.
Pink Dot "Love Unites"
In 2018, foodpanda collaborated with Pink Dot Hong Kong to support the carnival with an on-site booth giving away drinks and branded merchandise. foodpanda also hosted a bike riding event to collect donations to further support the LGBT+ cause.
